Jungle Trekking

Navigating dense foliage and dangerous wildlife.

The jungle is arguably the most demanding environment on Earth. Everything here is growing, living, and fighting for space.

1. Moisture and Foot Care

Trench foot is a real danger. You will get wet, and you will stay wet. The priority is to keep your feet as dry as possible at night. Always carry a dedicated pair of dry socks that you only wear while sleeping in your hammock.

2. Situational Awareness

Never grab a branch or vine without looking first—it might be a snake, or covered in toxic spines. Always shake out your boots in the morning before putting them on to check for scorpions or spiders. Move slowly and deliberately.
